Recorded in the Associations Register of the Prague 1 Local Authority on 30 September 1994, File No. 56/94. (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”)
The Museum provides the website www.jewishmuseum.cz, via which and by means of distance communication, it enables the concluding of contracts for the supply of goods.
The following terms and conditions are in accordance with Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (hereinafter referred to as “the Civil Code”).
(1) The Museum shall provide the following information to the purchaser before a binding offer is made via email:
a) The purchaser has the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days. This term shall commence from the day of signing the contract and (i) in the event of a purchase contract, from the day of receipt of the goods by the purchaser, (ii) in the event of a contract for several kinds of goods or for delivery of several components, from the day of receipt of the last delivery of the goods, or (iii) in the event of a contract for regular delivery of goods, from the day of receipt of the first delivery of the goods,
b) The purchaser may withdraw from the contract by completing and sending the sample form for withdrawal from the contract; this form constitutes an appendix to these terms and conditions,
c) If the purchaser withdraws from the contract, they are required, in accordance with Section 1831 of the Civil Code, to send or hand over to the Museum, without undue delay, at the latest within fourteen days of withdrawing from the contract, the goods received from the Museum,
d) If the purchaser withdraws from the contract, the Museum shall return to the purchaser, without undue delay, at the latest within fourteen days of withdrawing from the contract, all the money, including delivery expenses, that the Museum has received from the purchaser on the basis of the contract, provided that the goods are not damaged,
e) In the event of withdrawing from the contract, the purchaser shall bear all the costs associated with returning the goods, if the goods cannot be returned by the usual postal service on account of the nature of the goods. If the purchaser chooses a different means of delivering the goods than the least expensive one offered by the Museum, the Museum shall return to the purchaser the cost of delivering the goods to the amount corresponding to the least expensive means of delivery of the goods that is offered,
f) Where it is established that the Museum has broken the law by delivering the goods, the purchaser has the right, within an out-of-court complaint procedure, to take their complaint to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
