Trio Ribelino
Trio Ribelino was founded in 2021 by bassoonist Štěpán Rímský, oboist Anna
Škreptáčová and clarinettist Matouš Kopáček. The ensemble focuses on chamber music from the Classical era through to the 20th century. In its short career so far, it has already given a number of successful concerts, including at the Hradecká Nokturna music festival. In December 2021 it took part in the Czech Television Advent Concert. Each member of the trio is a professionally trained classical musician. Bassoonist Štěpán Rímský has been a member of the Prague Symphony Orchestra since 2017, having gained experience in ensembles such as the Solistes Européens, Luxembourg, the F.X. Šalda Theatre Orchestra in Liberec, and the National Theatre Orchestra in Prague. Clarinettist Matouš Kopáček is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards at local and international competitions, including second prize at the Czech Clarinet Art competition in Hořice in 2013, second prize at the Pro Bohemia competition in Ostrava, the absolute winner award at the 48th Concertino Praga competition in 2014, and many others. He is also a member of the Prague Symphony Orchestra and of the Orchestral Academy of the Czech Philharmonic. Anna Škreptáčová has won awards at international solo and chamber oboe competitions, including third prize in Wroclaw and first prize at the 2014 ISA music competition (Viktor Kalabis and Czech Contemporary Music categories). In 2016-17 she completed an internship at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, where she was taught by Prof. David Walter. She is currently a member of the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra and is involved in educational programmes held by the Czech Philharmonic.
