A Yom HaShoah commemorative concert given by the Krása Quartet featuring works by Hans Krása (1899–1944) and Pavel Haas (1899–1944).

The Krása Quartet
The Krása Quartet was founded at the Prague Conservatory in 2012 in the class of Tomáš Strašil.
In the summer of 2013, the quartet took part in the international festivals Young Prague and Young Stage, and in the Jarmila Novotná Festival. These performances were broadcast by Czech Radio. In 2013, the quartet took part in the Antonín Dvořák Competition. A year later, they were awarded second place in the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition.
In 2015, the quartet guest performed at the international Bodensee Festival while participating in the Pavel Haas Quartet courses in Feldkirch, Austria
In seasons 2016 to 2019, the quartet collaborated with the Czech National Theatre for a contemporary ballet production called Vertigo. In September 2017, they participated in the Karol Szymanowski International String Quartet Competition in Katowice.
In November 2019, the quartet won second prize at the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition, as well as an award for outstanding performance of a composition by Viktor Kalabis. At the beginning of March 2020, the quartet performed with pianist Mark Kozák at a special concert given by the Prague Chamber Orchestra, including their rendition of Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 4, Op. 18. In autumn 2021, the quartet participated in a masterclass with Rainer Schmidt of the Hagen Quartet.
In 2022, the quartet performed at the Eternal Hope Festival and accompanied pianist Jan Bartoš at a gala concert as part of the South Bohemian Piano Courses.
In addition to performing quartet works, the Krása Quartet also enjoys collaborating with dance ensembles and choirs.
