FOR TEACHERS
Jews, History and Culture
For teachers, the Jewish Museum regularly organizes two two-day blocks of seminars in Prague and Brno, entitled “Jews, History and Culture”. This project is supported by the Czech Ministry of Education.
These seminars focus on the following topics:
- History of the Jews
- Jewish traditions and customs
- The Holocaust / Shoah
- Anti-Semitism, the State of Israel and the present day
These seminars can also provide inspiration for the teaching of topics linked to Judaism and the Shoah, but also for more general topics of inter-cultural relevance. They also give teachers an idea of the programmes that are available to them and their pupils at the Jewish Museum.
Participants receive a certificate upon completion of each seminar block. It is also possible to take part in just one block. For information about the fee and other details.
