This exhibition was created by the Centropa organization, a Jewish historical institute dedicated to preserving 20th-century Jewish family stories and photos from Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. In addition to conducting interviews with Holocaust survivors, Centropa also collects and digitizes their family photos.
