FRIEDL'S CABINET: THE CHILDREN'S DRAWINGS FROM TEREZÍN
We are proud to introduce FRIEDL’S CABINET – a new project that pays tribute to one of the most progressive Central European female artists and art educators, Friedl Dicker-Brandeis (1898, Vienna – 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau), and her students. Featuring unique art teaching experiment that emerged in the extreme conditions of the Terezín ghetto and displaying originals from the world’s largest collection of children’s drawings from the Shoah period, the CABINET is more than a traditional museum exhibition – it is a powerhouse of inspiration and creativity.
