Pesah cup
A cup used for a ritual toast during Pesah. It is set aside only for this holiday in order to observe the regulation excluding the use of utensils that have come into contact with leavened foods (Heb. hametz). It does not differ in shape from ordinary cups used for ritual toasts and is identifiable only from the Hebrew inscription “Shel Pesah” or “Pesah”. It is usually made of silver, but relatively often also of glass. Its size is usually about 10 centimetres.
