Small tallit (Heb. tallit katan, also called arba kanfot)

A garment worn by traditional Jews as an undergarment beneath the shirt but not touching the body. This is worn at all times except during sleep. In the Czech lands, it is usually a rectangular strip of cloth with an opening for the head and tzitziot in the corners. Small tallitot made of wool and crocheted with cotton yarn have also been preserved.
