Tzom Gedaliah (Fast of Gedaliah)
A fast day following Rosh ha-Shanah (3 Tishri) in memory of the murdered Jewish Governor Gedaliah, who was in charge of the administration of Judea after the destruction of the Temple in 586 B.C.E.
